Many people take home decorators as professionals but aren’t happy with the project process, which sometimes costs much more time and money than they thought.

Designers often start their work by preparing inspirations

The first part of the project involved conducting interviews with experienced home decorators who have worked in the field for an extended period and are versed in client behavior. This process allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of their workflow and identify potential touch points they may overlook with their clients.

Allow clients to return to the past inspirations chosen at the beginning of the process

For a designer, one tool that combines both visualizations and allows management is optimal

Choosing inspirations with clients is often done at the macro and not the micro level

I researched more than 30 work management
platforms & designing apps

I've also checked training yoga classes apps & e-commerce apps.

The timeline screen has been designed to provide users with a sense of control

People use too many tools to plan their home projects

Simplifying the inspiration process
& yet drilling down to details was a big challenge

This is why I designed a drop-down menu for each room type as the primary hierarchy of the app. As a secondary hierarchy, I included additional options such as scanning items, adding items to favorites, and presenting HomeCore results based on user preferences provided during the onboarding process.

The product screen was designed according to users complains

That information is often lacking when choosing
a product, such as pros and cons, buyer
recommendations, and material descriptions.

Editing and gaining control over the process was critical in the user research
I have made

I designed the screen in a way that allows users to view all plan details and actively participate in making changes by notifying the home designer.

The first concept I designed
merged neon colors
with classic and formal tones

combining elements of old and new.

However, I decided to create another version that was more artistic and aligned with the app's theme.

The intention behind the design is
to showcase abstract elements and textures.
