A multifunctional app
for people who
lost or found a pet.

Overview

Unlike people, our pets have microchip IDs implanted in their bodies, ensuring that they can always be identified and returned to us if lost.

These devices, which are exclusively available in vet clinics, use RFID technology to scan microchips and retrieve important identification information.

Challenges & Causes

Reuniting lost pets with their owners can be a difficult task.

Finding a lost pet is an unexpected event. It can happen at an inconvenient time or place, which can make it challenging to bring the pet to a vet clinic.

While working on this project, I found a lost dog named Cookie. This experience made me realize that there are many ways for pets to become lost or found, and that there can be more than one path to a happy ending. As a result, I became curious to hear from and interview potential users, such as:

I researched more than 20 tracking and
emergency apps with health and map orientation

I've also researched music apps.

The scan button was designed as an emergency button in a different size & shape

than other buttons as the goal
was to simplify the activation.

followed by contact info, medical details, and a personality summary.

According to user research, losing or finding a pet can cause anxiety and sometimes shock.

The Help Center is designed in a way that allows users to receive indications after each step is completed.

designed so users can take the lost pet to a medical check as soon
as possible.

This is why information like closing
hours & directions are essential.

The map view screen is designed to enable users to easily see the location and details of lost dogs around them.

Users have the ability to adjust the range of the map view and report finding a lost pet without needing to scan the chip.
